Security

Close Protection Officer.

Protect people, not places.

Close protection is the discipline of protecting a person rather than a place: planning routes, reading rooms before the principal enters them, and staying invisible until the moment you cannot be. It sits at the top of the licensed ladder in both skill and pay, and it rewards experience, fitness and judgement. Most operatives build up through door or corporate work first; the nineteen-day course is the gateway.
