DS Top-Up Refresher.
Required at every renewal since April 2025.
Renewing a Door Supervisor licence now means proving your skills are current. The top-up refreshes your physical intervention to the approved standard, updates you on safeguarding and the terror threat, and confirms you hold a current first aid certificate, which the SIA requires at renewal. Book it before your renewal window closes so your licence never lapses.
The top-up is what stands between a working DS licence and a lapsed one. Against average door rates, from £149 is about 10 paid hours to protect three more years of licensed work.
A practical physical intervention assessment plus short knowledge checks. Completed in one sitting.

Yes. Add the one-day Emergency First Aid course and complete both together. The booking flow offers it automatically.
As soon as your renewal window opens. Training, the SIA application and processing all fit comfortably if you start early; a lapsed licence means no shifts while you wait.
