Site Manager.
The SMSTS route to running sites.
Site managers run the build: the programme, the trades, the safety file and the phone that never stops. The SMSTS certificate is the industry's standard for the job, and the role is the destination of construction's clearest career ladder: labourer, supervisor, manager.
What you actually do
CITB says the industry needs 47,860 extra workers every year to 2029. The green card is the fastest door in.
