Healthcare Assistant.
Clinical support, human touch.
Healthcare assistants work alongside nurses in hospitals, clinics and GP practices: observations, patient comfort, and the hands-on support that clinical teams run on. It is the closest role to the NHS frontline that needs no degree, and trusts recruit for it continuously. The Care Certificate plus a trust induction is the standard route.
