CSCS Green Card Route.
Course + CITB test + card, guided.
The green Labourer card is the fastest door into construction, and this route handles all three steps: the Level 1 health and safety award (one day), the CITB Health, Safety & Environment test, and the card application itself, guided so nothing falls through the gaps. Sites cannot let you work without the card; with it, labouring pays around £15 an hour and the trades ladder starts in front of you.
One day, classroom or live virtual: the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment. Site law, risk, manual handling, height, PPE and hazardous substances.
The Health, Safety & Environment touch-screen test at a centre near you. We help you book it and prepare with practice questions.
With the award and the test passed, we guide your CSCS application so the green card arrives without the usual back-and-forth.
Day order can vary by centre; your joining instructions confirm your schedule.
A short assessment at the end of the course day, then the CITB Health, Safety & Environment test at a test centre.
